From a Kitchen Table
to a Global Community

It began the way the best things always do — with curiosity and a total willingness to make a mess. Our co-founders Maya and Daniel spent weekends experimenting with soy wax, fragrance blends, and cold-process soap recipes, filling their apartment with the scent of lavender and burnt disaster batches.

What started as a hobby quickly became a calling. Friends wanted the candles. Then friends of friends. Then strangers on the internet. By 2019 they realized the hardest part wasn't making the products — it was sourcing quality ingredients without hunting through a dozen different suppliers.

So they built the shop they always wished existed: one place for premium candle and soap making supplies, guided by real crafters, honest about what works and what doesn't.

2018 Founded in Portland, OR — first 50 orders from Instagram

2020 Launched DIY tutorial series — 1M views in first year
